Animationland by the Oregon Museum of Science and Industry allows visitors of all ages to explore the world of animation through art and science. Visitors will learn how to incorporate animation skills into the creation process through hands-on interactives and discover exciting, dynamic ways to tell their own stories. Children will be amazed as their own drawings come to life before their eyes, or as they are transported into imaginary, animated scenes. Using intuitive technology, Animationland is a totally unique way of empowering everyone to become the author of their own stories.

Things are getting egg-citing at Minnetrista, and you’re invited to a Glass Easter Egg Hunt in Oakhurst Gardens. Grab your family and get ready to search the garden for your own piece of glass art to take home and be sure to look for a special visit from the candy-giving Easter Bunny. Don’t want to search the gardens? Come inside for the Annual Spring Glass Sale in partnership with Ball State University Glass Alliance.

Minnetrista is excited to offer glassworking space and materials to those glassworkers in the community who have already attended a flameworking workshop with us in the past. As you seek to continue honing your glassworking skills, Minnetrista will provide an open environment where you can experiment creatively and learn adventurously. This Open Hours is focused on the art of bead making. During these sessions, attendees may continue practicing projects and techniques previously learned in guided workshop classes.
