Explore with Ease: Discover Our New Sensory Support Packs for All Ages
At Minnetrista, we’re committed to providing a welcoming and inclusive experience for all visitors. To better support individuals with sensory sensitivities, we now offer free to borrow Sensory Support Packs at the Center Building, L.L. Ball Home (Bob Ross Experience), and Oakhurst Home (Oakhurst Experience).
These packs are designed to help guests feel more comfortable during their visit by providing sensory support items that can travel around our campus. They are available with items that are pre-selected with various sensory needs in mind or can be customized to include items for each guest’s individual needs. All items come with a drawstring bag for easy transportation and return. The items available at each location include:
Noise reducing headphones in small and large sizes
Sunglasses in child and adult sizes
A variety of fidget toys
Communication boards in English and Spanish
Weighted supports
And more!
Our sensory support packs are available for free to all of our guests during open hours, whether you are here to see exhibitions or to explore our grounds. To check out a bag, visit the front desk of our Center Building or see the staff at the Oakhurst or L.L. Ball Homes. At the end of your visit, they can be returned to any of the three locations.
