Muncie, IN—Kick off the holiday season with a beautiful experience at Minnetrista Museum & Gardens! Join us for our beloved Enchanted Luminaria Walk on December 6 and 7, 2024, from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m. This magical, free community event offers something for everyone, promising warmth, wonder, and festive cheer for the whole family.

Event Highlights:

  • Three Miles of Enchanting Lights: Stroll through beautifully illuminated pathways that wind through our historic 40-acre campus.

  • Live Music: Enjoy performances by America's Hometown Band Jazz Ensemble, The Wesley Family, Blackford County Schools Blue Felt Jazz Band, Maevyn Stone, the Hot Jazz Holiday Band featuring the Minnetrista Ball Jar Orchestra, Central Indiana Flute Choir, Muncie Central Sensations & Swing Choir, Patchwork, and the Maybelle Carolers.

  • Live Theatre: Watch ’Twas the Night Before Christmas on the Greensward. Showtimes are at 5:45, 6:45, and 7:45 p.m. each night, with a character meet-and-greet following the final performance.

  • Winter Crafts: Create your own unique wood ornament to take home as a keepsake.

  • Barrel Train Rides: Free rides for kids—don’t miss the fun!

  • Holiday Artisan Market: Find unique gifts crafted by local artisans, perfect for the holiday season.

  • Delicious Treats: Warm up with s’mores kits, delicious food, and festive beverages available for purchase from the hospitality team. Commemorative mugs filled with cocoa or cider are available for $10 each.
