Highlights from Garden Fair 2024!

And that's a wrap on Garden Fair 2024! We’re thrilled that over 4,700 guests joined us on campus for this exhilarating two-day celebration of horticulture, community, and live music. From browsing vendors and gaining insights from horticulture experts to crafting a living terrarium and striking poses under our fresh flower photo booth, Garden Fair truly offered something for everyone amidst a lively atmosphere of music, plants, crafts, and delectable food.

Day One: Picnic Garden

Day one of Garden Fair 2024 was a delightful start with the Picnic Garden, featuring classic favorites like barbecue and hot dogs, locally crafted brews, and beloved tunes from the local band, The Fierce. The atmosphere was electric with activities and offerings that included:

Fun Lawn Games: Visitors enjoyed engaging in friendly competition with lawn games, adding a playful touch to the day.
DIY Ball Jar Terrariums: Creativity flowed as attendees crafted their own Ball Jar Terrariums, adding a personal touch to their garden collections.
Local Vendors: Esteemed Garden Fair vendors shared a wealth of knowledge, plants, crafts, and more, making it a paradise for garden enthusiasts and curious minds alike.

Day Two: Garden Market

The excitement continued into day two with a host of enriching activities designed to educate and inspire:

Informative Garden Chats: Led by our expert Horticulture Team, these sessions provided valuable insights into sustainable gardening practices, engaging attendees in thoughtful discussions about the environment.
Take Home Planting Sessions: Visitors had the opportunity to participate in engaging planting sessions within the Herb Garden, learning techniques and taking home their planted herbs.
Live Music from Prarie Creek Sirens: Their music provided a serene backdrop, enhancing the overall ambiance of the fair.
Farmers Market: The market was bustling with fresh produce, artisanal products, and a full breakfast menu that delighted early risers and food lovers.

Throughout the event, the air was filled with laughter and joy as guests indulged in delicious food and sipped refreshing drinks, all while being serenaded by local bands amidst a backdrop of vibrant foliage.
