Muncie, IN—Join us for two captivating evenings of Shakespearean theater, where the timeless works of "Romeo & Juliet" and "A Midsummer Night’s Dream" will be brought to life under the enchanting sky on the East Lawn and the Center Building at Minnetrista Museum & Gardens.

On Saturday, June 22, 2024, from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., audiences are invited to experience the classic tale of love and tragedy in "Romeo & Juliet" in the Center Building at Minnetrista. Set against the backdrop of Verona's enduring feud between the Montagues and Capulets, Shakespeare's masterpiece captivates audiences with its poignant portrayal of passion and sacrifice.

Then, on Sunday, June 23, 2024, from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., escape into a world of magic and mischief with "A Midsummer Night’s Dream" on the East Lawn at Minnetrista. In the mystical realm of Athens, the whimsical comedy unfolds amidst a tangle of love potions and mischievous fairies. As lovers wander into an enchanted forest, their desires become entangled in a web of confusion orchestrated by the impish Puck.

Both performances are free community events, made possible by the generous support of Muncie Public Library and The Community Foundation of Muncie & Delaware County. Hospitality will have food and beverages available for purchase starting at 6:30 p.m., ensuring a delightful culinary experience for all attendees. We invite guests to bring their picnic blankets (or lawn chairs) and loved ones for unforgettable evenings of laughter, romance, and theatrical wonder. Don't miss this opportunity to immerse yourself in the timeless charm of Shakespeare's classic works, performed under the open sky on the East Lawn at Minnetrista.
