Muncie, IN— Calling all art lovers, history buffs, and jazz aficionados aged 60 and over! Minnetrista is excited to host two exclusive Senior Day events on Wednesday, June 12th, and Wednesday, August 14th! Get ready for a day of free admission filled with inspiring exhibitions (including the ever-popular Bob Ross Experience!), and lively entertainment – all designed to celebrate the amazing contributions of our senior community.

  • Free Admission: Enjoy all of Minnetrista's exhibitions, including the captivating Bob Ross Experience and the Oakhurst Experience.

  • Live Jazz Music: Relax and unwind to the soothing sounds of America's Hometown Jazz Combo performing in the Hackley Gallery from 2:00 p.m. to 3:15 p.m.

  • Exclusive Tours: Delve deeper into Minnetrista's newest exhibitions with guided tours led by museum experts:

    • 10:00 a.m. | Heritage Gallery | Ball Stores gallery talk with Karen Vincent, local historian and author of Ball Stores.

    • 11:30 a.m. | Oakhurst Experience | Young at Art looking tour with Tania Said, Vice President of Exhibitions and Programs.

    • 1:00 p.m. | Gallery 1 | Hoosier Salon preview with Sebastian Encina, Associate Director of Exhibitions and Curation.
